Models In Motion: Babylon 5 The Lost Tales

Check out the ships I built for Babylon 5: The Lost Tales, a few years back. All together they were, the new Starfury Fighters, the classic opening Skylark, EA Transport, Centauri Fighters, Centauri transport, and the large Centauri battlecruisers (Vorchan). I modeled the 3D geometry within Lightwave, and the textures were painted using Photoshop. The animation was done by Atmosphere VFX.

Models in Motion: F-302

Here's a look at the F-302 Fighter I modeled and textured to be used in Stargate Atlantis season 2 and beyond, as well as the last few seasons of Stargate SG-1

Luxology's Modo was used for the geometry and texturing. The animation was done by co-workers of the inhouse VFX crew.

There are a few still renders in my gallery:

Star Trek Calendar Images

Starting from the year 2004 to 2009, I had the opportunity to contribute a total of 6 CG images to the Star Trek: Ships of the Line Calendar series. These were all created using Newtek's 3d software: Lightwave. To view all 6 images, follow the link below.

Building the 3D Destiny model for Stargate Universe

In the first season of Stargate Universe (SG-U), I had the opportunity of being the Chief Modeler of the Starship “Destiny”. Normally this involves modeling and texturing a ship from concept drawings. However, in this case, due to my experience on Atlantis, I was offered a wider role early in the design process. We commenced work on the ship just as Atlantis was coming to an end. During the conceptual process I received input from visual effects supervisor Mark Savela, producer Brad Wright and Robert Cooper.

New Stargate Universe trailer

Get a sneak peak at the new Stargate Universe trailer. You finally get a look at their main ship "The Destiny" that I built (modeled and textured) for the show. The characters spend plenty of time on this spaceship which resembles an old floating city in space.
