Starship Troopers: The Roughneck Chronicles

Here are some images of my first ever REAL production work from 1999, on Starship Troopers: The Roughneck Chronicles. A completely 3D animated cartoon. It was ground breaking at the time, and still holds up pretty well. Thanks mostly to a great team of artists who worked on it. I spent most of my time just cranking out 3d props, sets, vehicles and then texturing them for episodic use.

CG work from Voyager

 

So this is a few years old now, but here's a look at some work I did on the Voyager Series Finale. I was tasked with adding armored emitters all over the surfaces of Voyager's main hull. Created the Armored Plated Geometry over Janeway's shuttle, as well as finish off the modeling and texturing of Admiral Janeway's future shuttle which had been briefly roughed out already.

Stargate Universe - Coming Soon

The most recent sci-fi production I have been involved with, is "Stargate Universe". My role was to build (model/texture) the main spaceship for the show called the "Destiny". The Destiny is an Ancient ship, where the main cast is stranded upon. The ship hasn't been revealed yet, but here's a 45 second promo video from Scifi.com that gives you a taste of what's to come. The show will premiere on Friday, October 2 in the US.

Andromeda CG Spaceships

These are pretty old now looking back, but I built the new versions of these spaceships for Andromeda's Season 4 and 5. I used solely Lightwave for the modeling and surfacing, and Photoshop to paint the texture maps.

Lost In Space - Jupiter 2 CG Model

A few years back, there was a push to revive the old "Lost In Space" series. I worked on the pilot episode for the show. My job was to model and texture the new 3D version of the Jupiter 2 spaceship. Not sure that show ever saw the light of day. Here's a look at that CG model, enjoy.
