The Award winning visual effects company "The Mill", has created a free iPhone color correction application called "Mill Colour".

It can be used as a professional shoot-tool for setting reference looks on location or just for manipulating photos taken on your iPhone or imported to the iPhone picture library.

Definitely a handy tool to have in your arsenal when you're on set and need to take some quick reference images.

Here are some CG Set building replacements I modeled and textured for several episodes of CSI. The Rampart building was actually demolished in 3D along with composited debri and smoke in an episode.

Firebug, is a must have Firefox extension which has the ability to inspect various elements on a web page. Once activated, hover your mouse over an element and Firebug will give you loads of detail on that item. Check out where it resides in your XHTML, CSS rules belonging to it, edit Javascript, and more. It is a must have tool for Web Developers in general.

Linux Command line Tip: List Users & Processes

The power of Linux for administrators resides in the command line. Here's a quick way to retrieve a list of users currently logged into a Linux server, and their running processes.

• Type "w" and enter for a full user list
• Type "w -s" and enter for a short process list
• Type "w username" and enter for a specific user’s processes.
