Panorama App for the iPhone

Recently I've been playing around with Panorama iPhone apps. Of the several that I have tried, I find Pano to be the best in class. Pano allows you to use up to 16 photos, is quick and easy. It let's you decide if you want use landscape or portrait modes. Start shooting your photos, and in successive order your shots lines up with the previous ones. Once you're done, Pano works it's Magic, to beautifully stitch your panorama together. The results are quite nice. Pano sells in the iTunes App store for $2.99

Create Presentations Online

Prezi is a web based service that allows you to make animated zooming presentations online. The results can be viewed online or downloaded to view locally. Utilize images, videos, PDF's Flash files...etc. Like most cloud based services, there are Free public accounts, which are limited to 100 MB's of space, and a watermark on your presentations.

Pro and Private accounts unlock more features, remove the watermark and give you the ability to edit your presentations offline. It's not a replacement for Keynote or Powerpoint, but it's a nice solution for you to use if you need to create a presentation with nothing but a browser in front of you. Try the online editor, or flip through the showcase to see what is possible.

Converting Video on the Mac

In the Past converting video was a complicated process for people with a technical know-how of codecs and convoluted jargon that only experts understood. With the evolution of video on the internet, various developers have simplified the process down with some easy to use applications, which the average person can utilize.

The list is long across all the mainstream platforms. However, I live in the Mac world for all my graphics/web and Visual Effects work. The two most common applications I end up using for converting between video formats are FREE.
